Dress for Success Vancouver Announces Amy Robichaud as Incoming Executive Director

Dress for Success Vancouver (DFSV) is delighted to announce the appointment of Amy Robichaud as their new Executive Director to continue accelerating the growth of theorganization’s impact on the women in our community. As Executive Director, Amy will lead a team of dedicated staff and volunteers to serve and empower over 2,000 women a year in British Columbia to achieve economic independence through DFSV’s career development programs and network support.

Robichaud is an entrepreneurial and impact-driven leader. With a decade of experience, Amy has helped non-profit and charitable organizations across NA advance their ideas, revenue and diversity goals through policy and practice. She is the former Director of Partnership & Engagement for Minerva BC, the co-founder of FundHer.ca, and a speaker on mental health, intergeneration leadership, implicit bias, women in politics, leadership and civic engagement.

“I am thrilled to be joining DFSV at this critical time of growth. A long time admirer, I have seen the value of its programs and the impact they create,” says Robichaud. “The energy around supporting women in our community is both palpable and critical right now, and DFSV is well positioned to execute its growth strategy and support the economic inclusion of more women through the career development programs along with its successful professional attire efforts. Growth through new and innovative ideas is an area where I believe I can contribute significantly, and I am delighted to get to work with and become part of the DFSV community of champions.”

Most recently, Amy founded AR Strategy, a specialized Advancement Practice that uses a diversity and inclusion lens to guide organizations with their fund development strategy and operations, and communications including persuasion campaign planning and management. Amy serves as an Advisor and Board member for Speech and Debate Canada. Amy is also a regular contributor to the CBC, and has appeared on CPAC, and German broadcaster ZDF.

We are honoured to welcome Amy to the DFSV family.”

This appointment not only builds upon DFSV’s heritage and success of serving over 32,000 women in BC since 1999, but it also marks an important milestone as DFSV celebrates it’s 20thyear journey of success and is on a mission to achieve significant new fundraising goals and expand existing programs.
