Starting on September 27th, 2021 Dress for Success Vancouver will be following provincial guidelines and verifying vaccination of each client, staff, and volunteer who enters the boutique for an in-person dressing services appointment, volunteer shift, or work reason.
We will be using the Vaccine Card Verifier App to scan the B.C. Vaccine Card of each individual upon entering the boutique.
If you are coming to the boutique, please bring your B.C. Vaccine Card, printed or on your mobile device. We will be scanning them at the door before your appointment and cross-referencing it with a piece of photo I.D.
If you don’t have your BC Vaccine Card yet, you can obtain it here.
Reminder: This is not the paper card that was filled out when the vaccine doses were received, this is the QR code (printed out or) on mobile devices.
We will also be conducting a verbal symptom verification check-list and taking the temperature of individuals at the door to the boutique.
If anyone is unable to show their B.C. Vaccine Card, declines to show proof of vaccination, does not answer in the negative to all symptoms in the check-list, or presents with a fever – they will be unable to enter the boutique.
Dress for Success Vancouver is committed to providing a safe in-person experience for our clients, volunteers and staff and we will continue to require masks for everyone while moving about the space.
If anything mentioned here is a barrier to accessing in-person services, please know that all of our services are available virtually and we have remote opportunities for volunteers to stay connected to our community as well.
Thank you all for your cooperation.
